Future Changes within Marquard & Bahls

27.05.2010 - Hamburg:

Wim Lokhorst has decided to step down as Chairman of the Board of Marquard & Bahls AG at the end of the year 2010. Christian Flach will take over as new Chairman of the Board.

After almost 17 successful years with Marquard & Bahls, Wim Lokhorst will become a member of the Supervisory Board.

As of January 1st, 2011, Christian Flach will succeed as Chairman of the Executive Board. Christian Flach has been with the company since 1993, holding several management positions at Marquard & Bahls, Oiltanking and Mabanaft in Germany as well as abroad. Since 2006 he has been Managing Director of Mabanaft GmbH & Co. KG and was appointed to the Marquard & Bahls Board in 2008.

The Board of Marquard & Bahls AG will consist from 2011 onwards of Christian Flach as CEO and Chairman and George Nette as CFO.
